CCIE is now reckoned as the de facto professional passport in the internetworking Career arena.        

CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) was introduced in 1993 as high level  certification to certify professionals with the highest level of Cisco and Internetworking competencies. CCNA and CCNP are new entry and intermediate level training           certification.                                                                                                               

The current Cisco training at ABRS covers the core examination syllabus for the CCIE written test with hands-on practice.

CCNA Certification

The CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking for the small office/home office (SOHO) market. CCNA certified professionals can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, IPX, Serial, AppleTalk, Frame Relay, IPRIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.

CCNP(Cisco Certified Network Professional) is at an intermediate level certification to CCIE. The Certification ensures the professionals possess the skills to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot complex routed LAN/WAN Networks.

CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) is a high-level certification vehicle to ensure internetworking professionals possess the advanced technical skills required to maintain optimum network performance and reliability as well as advanced skills in supporting diverse network that use other technologies.

Routing &Switching Tracks

The Routing and Switching career tracks are designed for professionals who work with   traditional Cisco technology-based networks in which LAN and WAN routers and LAN switches predominate. It includes Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).

ABRS CCIE Program (Exam 350-001)

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) program sets the professional benchmark for internetworking expertise. The CCIE Routing and Switching exam covers IP and IP routing, non-IP desktop protocols such as IPX, and bridge and switch related technologies. The two-hour, multiple choice exam is computerized and administered by Cisco authorized testing centers. The exam is closed book and contains 100 questions.
