1. Structure

Five Module  Programme from Mid October  to May (examination)

2. Fee Structure

$200 registration fee plus 

Module 1:  HK$5,880    (HK           Oct - Nov)

Module 2:  HK$5,500    (SCUT      Nov - Dec, followed by Xmas Break)

Module 3: HK$5,500    (HK           Jan  - Feb, followed by Lunar New Year Break )

Module 4:  HK$5,500    (SCUT      Feb - Mar )

Module 5:  HK$5,500    (HK           Mar - Apr)

Examination (late April / May) Remarks: a) Each module instalment should be made 2 weeks prior to commencement, b) SCUT module should be paid 3 weeks   in prior to commencement, c) First payment should be made 7 days within acceptance (Fee includes HK/GuangZhou course, notes and international examinations but does not include books, supplies, external IMIS membership/exemption fee accommodation or travelling. The provision of Guangzhou accomodation  will be assisted by ABRS & SCUT DCampus - either at Campus Guest House or nearby apartments. Ownership of PC for self study / homework is preferred)

3. Class Hours
   Approx. 50  hrs per term (4-5 weeks) plus additional lab exercise time.

            Normal class schedule (subject to adjustment)

            Monday: Afternoon Laboratory and Library Hours

            Tuesday - Friday: 10:00am -12:30 or 1 pm Class Hours plus 2 scheduled afternoon lab hours

    5. Minimum Entry Qualifications

1. F.6 or F.7 educated*,
2. F.5 + 1 year additional study in commercial/computing subjects or completion of pre-Associate Degree
3. Age 19 + with F.5 education and at least one year office experience/adequate PC experience
4. F.5 with HKCEE passes in English, Maths & Computing Studies
5. Other candidates with combined equivalent education/training/experience to be assessed by an entrance test

• Conducted by one of Hong Kong's most experienced independent IT Training and Education Institute - Established in 1990
• Accredited by Institute for the Management of Information Institute UK for exemption of IMIS Diploma award (a separate exemption fee is required)
• Advancement to stage 2 Advanced Diploma and stage 3 Bachelor Degree Final  Year (UK or HK)
• Study and IT Experience at a leading China University (Dcampus - a Cisco Certified Network Academy)
• Learn Putonghua and China eCommerce in Guangzhou 
• Maximum class size is limited to 32
• Tutors and Instructors are Certified IT Professionals or experienced training/education professionals with Degree+ qualifications and no less than 3 years professional experience.
• Incorporate Contemporary Technologies: Linux, MS 2000, Cisco & Web Programming
• Optional evening upgrade courses for many other IT skills training
• Library Services: ABRS's own mini reference library is availabe.  Students may join Management Development Centre library as user member (3 minutes from ABRS office)

• Can complete additional modules leading to University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate Diploma   in Computing (to be offered as top up modules)
• Can study additional course preparing for Computing Degrees  in China (Bachelor in Computing via Opening Learning path)

1. Advance to Bachelor Degree 2nd year programmes at our partner University in UK or Australia (eg. University of Greenwich, London or University of Wollongong subject to marks requirement)

     b.  Advance to British Computer Society Professional Examinations Programme (Higher Diploma/Degree level)

     c.  Apply for entry to other local or overseas tertiary institutes
