PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
PROGRAM INFORMATION
1. Program Completion Time
The minimum completion time is 12 months and the actual completion time depends on your pace of study up to maximum of 7 years.
2. Class Hours
Approximate hours of face to face contact in the classroom setting for each subject is 24 hours. This includes lectures, tutorial/examination review and case analysis/discussion.
3. Assessment
Assessment for each subject is by examination of normally 3 hours each. A student may resit for a failed subject once. Any additional resit is subject to discretion of the University.
Examinations are conducted four times a year and is assisted by British Council worldwide
4. Course Schedule
Normally 2 3 subjects will be offered in a three month quarter and you may take from 1 3 depending on your time availability.

5. Class Venues

All venues are located within 5 minutes walking distance of Wanchai MTR station.
6. Course Tutors:
University approved local tutors (typically with over 5 years tertiary / MBA teaching experience and over 15 professional experience) and overseas tutors from a number of leading Universities.
7. Residency / Campus Option
All students are eligible to join on-campus courses subject to prior arrange.
8. eLearning (non-class based) Option
A new mode of study with off-line or real time interactive tutor support will be introduced in due course.
Admission Requirement:
An undergraduate degree from a recognised university. Normally two years' responsible work experience is expected plus demonstrated English proficiency.
Professional Experience Entry: Non-degree holders with other combination of experience (normally with over 6 years) and qualifications may enrol as a provisional student and will become a matriculated University student after passing two core subjects.

Application Due: 4 weeks prior to commencement month, extra 3 weeks for exemption applications

PC and Internet Access
All candidates should be familiar with the use of PC applications (word processing, spreadsheet and graphics presentation), have internet knowledge and MUST have one Internet account.
Exemption
A maximum of 2 subjects may be granted for prior study at suitable level.

Web Support
Web Support is available from EBS/FT Knowledge and ABRS. This includes reference materials, on-line journal, course administration web.
Specialist MBA
You may concentrate in a number of specialist subjects from choices of Marketing, Finance and Human Resources Management and graduate with a specialist certificate (a total of 4 electives are required, course offer is subject to demand).

Course Lecturers, Tutor and Consultant (Partial List) Profile
The lecturers and tutors are internationally oriented and are approved by Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh Business School. They have extensive professional experience of 15 to 30 years in their respective expert areas as well as rich experience in conducting courses in Hong Kong, UK , Australia and USA.
Mr. S. Ho - B.Sc. (London) MBA. (Hull)
Mr. Ho is an experience Finance manager and lecturer. He has over 10 years finance experience and is now a professional lecturer in Accounting and Finance. He has been lecturing in ABRS undergraduate and postgraduate courses since 1997.
*Dr. M. T. Jones B.S. (Rhode Island), Ph.D (UC Irvine)
Dr. Jones , originally from USA, has been lecturing in New Zealand and then Australia for the past 5 years. His expert area is Corporate Strategy and International Business. He has lectured in Australia and Hong Kong for the past 3 years and is very familiar about the Asia business environment. His past MBA teaching experience including Sydney University/AGSM, McQuarie University, University of Auckland .
*Dr. A. Fraser BA (Hons), M. Litt, Ph.D
Dr. Fraser has rich experience conducting Business Strategies, eCommerce courses and seminars in HK and UK as well as extensive experience in consulting. She was also a former Harvard University Research Fellow.
*Dr. P Walsh, B.Sc. (Wollongong), Ph.D (Newcastle)
Dr. Walsh is an expert in Quantitative Methods for Business, Performance Management as well as Business Strategy. He has lectured in a number of leading business schools in Australia.

Mr. Howard is a seasoned consultant, manager and lecturer. He has been lecturing in people / organizational management related areas for the past ten years. Mr. Petty is a highly motivating lecturer as well as experienced consultant in Accounting. He has extensive teaching experience in Australia and Hong Kong, including MBA courses for Sydney University/AGSM, UNSW and graduate courses for HKU Business School.

Ms. Chu has rich teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level - including MBA courses at HK Polytechnic University, Sydney University/AGSM, UTS Sydney. Warwick University UK .She has over 15 years' experience in teaching marketing and management subjects.
