Objectives:
These
comprehensive CFA examination revision courses aim to train professionals in the
fields of Finance, Accounting, Business or those who are intending to pursue a
career in this financial industry. This program consist of series of lectures,

About CFA Program
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®)
certification conducted by The Association for Investment Management and
Research (AIMR) is a globally recognized standard for measuring the competence
and integrity of financial analysts. The broad-based curriculum of the CFA
Program compels you to build a working knowledge of principles across core areas
of the investment industry, from quantitative analysis and economics to
portfolio management and asset valuation. Awarded as a CFA Charterholder – to
Employers, you will become a more viable candidate to assume senior-level
positions with wider ranges of responsibility; to the global investment
community, you are recognizes as a symbol of professional excellence with
respect and credibility.
The purpose of the CFA program is to help
candidates learn. To master the
concepts contained in the AIMR Candidate Body of Knowledge and prepare for the
CFA examinations.
About AIMR Organization
The Association for
Investment Management and Research (AIMR) with its headquarter in USA, is an
international, not-for-profit
organization of more than 50,000 investment practitioners and educators
in over 100 countries. Founded in
January 1990, AIMR was created from the merger of the Financial Analysts
Federation (FAF) and the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (ICFA). The
CFA exam is administered by the AIMR annually in more than 70 nations worldwide
and it’s also the AIMR to award the CFA designation.
Professional
Award
Candidates may enter into one of the
Level I, II or III examinations after completion of the related program. There
are three levels of examinations, and candidates who successfully passed all
three Levels’ examination sequentially, with at least 3 years of acceptable
professional experience working in the decision-making process (i.e. Accountant,
Auditor, Banker, Business Appraiser, Investment Banking Analyst, Security
Trader, etc), and fulfill the requirements of AIMR & HKSFA would be able to
become a CFA.
Program Structure
The
program is based on a series of well structured lectures and examination
revision sessions. Programs in each levels are structured with 2 parts –
lectures on the related contents and intensive examination revisions and trials.
Candidates can enroll into either parts or both. The scheduled completion time
for a full Level program is about 3 to 5 months with contents covering
Investment Tools, Asset Valuation, Portfolio Management, Ethnical and
Professional Standards, etc.

CFA Examination: The examination consists of three levels – Level I, II
& III. Candidates must take the exams sequentially and may sit for just one
exam each time.

Level I exam is conducted twice a year (June & December) composed of 240
multiple-choice questions

Level II & III exams is conducted once a year (June) composed of 350% essays
and 50% items sets
